Sextant for Daml currently provides commercial support for four DAML for X options via the AWS Marketplace -

  • Distributed Ledgers: Daml for Besu (Early Access)
  • Distributed Ledgers: Daml for Sawtooth
  • Centralised Ledgers: Daml for Amazon QLDB
  • Relational Database: Daml for Amazon Aurora

Daml for Besu

At the Hyperledger Global Forum in Phoenix BTP and Digital Asset announced commercial support for Daml for Besu, the Ethereum-compatible distributed ledger contributed by ConsenSys to the Hyperledger community.

Daml for Sawtooth

BTP has integrated Digital Asset’s Daml smart contract runtime engine with its carefully curated Hyperledger Sawtooth distribution - built, tested and maintained by its engineers - as the backing distributed ledger technology.

Sextant for Daml is a blockchain management platform that leverages this powerful combination to deliver one-click deployment of Daml-powered enterprise-grade Sawtooth networks running on industry-standard Kubernetes clusters. These can either be stand alone - typically the case if a developer is testing a new blockchain application or smart contract - or join existing Daml-powered Sawtooth networks.
